WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR ANDRIOD PHONE IS ROOTED...?
Android.... It is one of a mobile Operating Systems. Most of the people use Android smartphones for their daily tasks, because its is more flexible compared to other os,But what is rooting an android smartphone most of the people often ask about what is rooting and what happens when they root their phones well I will share the information i know about rooting and why we should root our android smartphones.
What Is Superuser....?
If you are aware of Linux then it will be easy for you to understand what i am gooing to say and how this thing works.
'su' or superuser is one of the binaries that are executed when they are asked or other program calls it to execute.so binaries are most commonly used when we want to access files that do not belong to us but to the actual system the 'ROOT'
All the android phones don't have this 'su' binary, because in linux every inch of the operating system can be configured and can have full access to all the files that are dangerous to be handled by beginners. So to avoid this situation we have a Guest account that have access to everything in their user directory but can't do anything to the system's Root directory.
That is the reason why the people root their smartphones to get the access of the Root directory and thus can have full control over their smart phone.

About Android Rooting... What It Does..?
when you root your smartphone 'su' binary is added to your phone's "/bin" directory. Now you can use it to access the phone's root directory where we can copy, modify, and edit config files. Now there are some apps that use these config files and hence we need another app that has the ability to manage the permissions for these apps,we have various "superuser" apps available in Google Play which take care of these permissions.
The permissions are the permissions you give when you download an app from Play Store.
Advantages
There are many advantages for rooting.we can only give permissions to apps that we use most and use different apps that need root permissions and we can even customise our phone to more extent that you can't even imagine. So I am not going to list out all the advantages but you can find many apps on the net so feel free to browse the net.
Disadvantages
There are no actual disadvantages of giving root permission to your smartphone but there might be some times where you allow a non verified program access to the root and this might cause problems if the app was meant for something more, like hacking into the data present. So the main cause of useing a Guest account is to avoid this and provide security to your personal data.So it is adviced to use the root permissions properly.
